Aster MIMS Academy, the educational wing of Aster MIMS, envisions to be at the forefront of academic and intellectual discovery. Established in the year 2003 to augment the health science educational needs of the society under Aster MIMS Academy Trust. Situated at Puthukode, Vazhayoor Panchayat in Malappuram district, our campus is spread over 37 acres of land with a futuristic plan of evolving a world class higher education institute in the field of medicine and allied health sciences.
Principal’s Message
Dr. Assuma Beevi.T.M is the Dean, Aster MIMS Academy from the year 2017. She had completed her B.Sc Nursing Degree from Govt. College of Nursing, Thiruvananthapuram under University of Kerala with second rank in the year 1982. She did her post-graduation from College of Nursing, Christian Medical College, Vellore in the year 1989 with first rank of University of Madras.
She earned her doctorate from University of Calicut as the first nurse to obtain a doctoral degree from University of Calicut. In the year 1991- 1992 she did a Diploma in Medical Education. She has completed Diploma in Hospital Management and Certificate in Human Resource Management for Health Care from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. She is a trainer for trainers for GFATM, HIV/AIDS, and a certified Health Professional Educator. She is very active in research and has had different grants for research. She has 4 copyrights.
