We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of medical laboratory technologists through a curriculum that seamlessly integrates rigorous academic instruction with extensive hands-on clinical experience.

The undergraduate program in Medical Laboratory Technology is meticulously designed to provide a comprehensive blend of theoretical learning and practical training over four years. Supervised by our seasoned clinical faculty, students gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in various specialties and sub-specialties of Pathology.

Specialized Training Includes:

  • Molecular biology: Training in advanced molecular techniques like  PCR , Flow cytometry
  • Blood bank and Transfusion medicine: Training in advanced techniques.

Advanced Labs and Technologies:

  • Histopathology Lab: This is specially designed to diagnose tissues as malignant and benign through microscopy and immunohistochemistry. It consist of units for Biopsy collection ,Grossing, Fixation, Decalcification, Tissue processing , Embedding ,Microtomy, Staining and Slide storage.
  • Clinical Pathology Lab: Extensive hands-on training in Medical  Speciality that is concerned with the diagnosis of disease based on the laboratory analysis of bodily fluids such as blood, Urine, and Tissue homogenates and Extracts using the tools of Chemistry, Microbiology ,Hematology, Molecular pathology and Immunohaematology. They focuses on the examination of blood and other body samples for functional abnormalities.
  • Haematology Lab: The clinical Hematology Lab performs a wide variety of basic and advanced Hematology testing on whole blood ,Serum,Urine, Cerebrospinal fluids and other body fluids.
  • Blood Bank  and Transfusion medicine Lab: Collection and processing hematopoietic stem cells for blood and bone marrow transplantation as well as the testing necessary for organ transplantation
  • Cytology Lab: Examinaion of certain types of cells in body fluids or tissues for diagnosis of cancer.

Clinical Experience: Throughout their studies, students rotate through various clinical settings, gaining exposure to real-world scenarios and patient care. This practical training is crucial for developing the skills necessary to excel as a Medical Laboratory  Technologist.

Post-Completion Competence: Upon successful completion of the Four year academic program , our graduates are well-prepared to work independently as Medical Laboratory Technologists. They possess the knowledge, technical skills, and clinical experience required to deliver high-quality Patient care.

Commitment to Excellence: This structured and immersive training program ensures that our graduates are not only knowledgeable but also  well adapable at using cutting-edge technology and techniques to provide exceptional care in the field of Patients health.
