Event Details:
MIMS College of Nursing organized a Fire & Safety Talk by Mr.Gangadharan, Fire & Safety Officer Aster MIMS Hospital, Calicut on 14.09.21 at 11.15 am. Students of first year B.Sc nursing (18th batch) attended the session. The programme started with a welcome address by Mrs.Vinitha David, Assistant Professor, MIMS College of Nursing. In this talk students learned methodologies involved in fire formation, causes of fire at the workplace, importance of various fire control mechanisms, factors involved in the prevention of fire, various fire safety devices and their working mechanisms, essential requirements of the emergency evacuation plan, and different types of fire extinguishers and their usage.
